The research conducted by Friends of the Library of Mataram was designed to look at the role of various social institutions such as the local government, NGOs, Children’s Forums, Village Women and Children Protection Groups (KPPAD), Village Government, Community Leaders, Religious Leaders, and so on. The research method uses a qualitative approach, namely Participatory Action Research (PAR) by interviewing 16 informants and FGDs with 20 informants from various local social agencies. One of the topics of discussion is the cultural context, namely Merariq Kodeq which has been going on for a long time and has been carried out by the Sasak people in Lombok. The next result is that there are various factors that cause child marriage in West Lombok, namely parenting, education, economic factors, social media, socio-cultural pressures, and wrong cultural interpretations.
